UNM – Daniel Feng

Major: Biochemistry in the 2022 BA/MD cohort at UNM

Career Goal: To provide high quality medical care to others in my home of NM.

Major: Double major in Psychology and Religious Studies

Educational goals: Counseling psychology Ph.D.

Career Goal: I would like to work specifically with individuals who experience intersecting LGBTQIA+ and religious identities. Additionally, I am interested in teaching college level students to help foster the growth of more counselors in the community.

Major: Integrated Studies and Innovation

Educational goals: Graduate Summa Cum Laude with three minors by May 2023

Career Goal: My goal is to become a small business owner who will eventually fund foster care and youth entrepreneurship programs.

Major: Mechanical Engineering, Minor Chemistry

Educational Goals: Complete MD PhD program at UNM

Career Goals: I would like to be a physician scientist in the fields of pathology, toxicology, or neurology to work for underserved patient populations here in NM.

Educational goals:
Visual Impairment Masters program at New Mexico State, so I can become a teacher for the Visually Impaired.

“I am an active member of the National Federation of the Blind, and a board member of the New Mexico Association of Blind students. I know the No Bounds scholarship will be a great help for students who have disabilities at UNM, and will show them that they are just as capable of getting a college degree as anyone else.” – Leslie Hernandez

I promised my mother before she passed, that I would pursue one of my dreams and make a difference in the world.
